Job summary

FITT Scientific, LLC is seeking a Project Manager with a strong Army maintenance background to lead installation logistics at Fort Stewart. You will oversee maintenance, supply, and transportation, acting as onsite contractor representative and translating workload planning into ready equipment and compliant performance.

Ideal candidates have Army maintenance leadership experience, ability to manage a substantial workforce, and familiarity with DoD logistics systems and related publications.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Army or DoD maintenance operations and personnel.
• Ability to supervise workforce, manage workload, and meet customer needs.
• Knowledge of AR 750-1, DA PAM 750-1/8, TAMMS, and technical manuals.
• Experience with GCSS-Army or equivalent logistics systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract execution through managers; coordinate personnel and resolve issues.
• Direct field maintenance, inspections, repairs, and parts coordination.
• Manage priorities, work backlog, labor use, and equipment status.
• Integrate maintenance with supply and transportation to support missions.
• Interface with Contracting Officer, COR, and leadership; provide status and actions.
• Oversee staffing, training, licenses, and coverage; direct contractor employees.
