Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) invites a reliable Bus Driver to support operations at Fort Sill, OK. The role requires safe driving, daily vehicle inspections, documentation, and strict adherence to DOT/OSHA safety rules while transporting personnel.

You will coordinate with supervisors and dispatchers for timely trips, maintain accurate logs, and comply with installation security. AFO offers a $250 retention bonus after 90 days, part-time hours up to 30 per week, and hourly pay around $23.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid CDL A or CDL B license.
• Clean driving record for past seven years.
• Ability to pass a DoT physical.
• Valid medical card or insurance equivalent.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
• Ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 investigation result, obtain and maintain a CAC.
• REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, and follow all DOT/ OSHA safety rules.
• Load and unload personnel safely using proper equipment and techniques.
• Coordinate with supervisors and dispatchers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Report maintenance issues promptly and assist with general support tasks as assigned.
• Comply with installation access and security requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, and logs.
• Other duties as assigned.
