Lee Health in Fort Myers, Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCU - Progressive Care Unit. The role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will deliver safe patient care using the nursing process and document care accordingly.

Requirements include graduating from an accredited nursing program, Florida RN licensure or compact license, current BLS, and a willingness to complete department-specific competencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active Florida RN license or compact license; ability to transfer an out-of-state license to FL.
• Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification; renewal per department requirements.
• Experience requirement; competency assessment may be required; department-specific requirements may vary.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe nursing care and documentation using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and positive outcomes.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients in accordance with ANA standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
