Job summary

Lee Health in Cape Coral/Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will work a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift, delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and documenting care using the nursing process.

Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, with collaboration across disciplines to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; Associates or Bachelors preferred.
• Experience required; competency assessment.
• BLS certification required; Florida license in nursing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document patient care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate with interprofessional team to ensure safe, efficient care and positive patient outcomes.
• Adhere to American Nurses Association standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act.
• Provide leadership, teaching, and professional development within the unit.
