Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks an experienced Network System Administrator for a mission-critical IT and defense solutions environment. This onsite role is located in Fort Meade, MD and requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

You will support a large IP messaging and communications network and help implement evolving customer requirements. The role emphasizes network engineering, security, and complex configurations, including STIG baselines, RCA, and incident management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 4+ years of network engineering/troubleshooting experience.
• CCNP Route/Switch and/or Security preferred.
• Experience with Cisco enterprise devices and STIG-compliant configurations.
• Strong knowledge of network security architecture and WAN technologies.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Network integration, testing, security engineering, and implementation configuration support.
• Collaborate to define STIG baselines, versioning, and compliance tracking.
• Test and validate automation and best practice insertions.
• Lead development of SOPs/TTPs and support CSI.
• Maintain network performance and incident management activities.
