Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with precision hand tools, test equipment, soldering irons, heat guns, and rework stations.
• Deep knowledge of internal device anatomy (motherboards, power supplies, logic boards, LCD panels).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, board views, and technical repair manuals.
• Solid understanding of ESD safety procedures and proper chemical usage (Isopropyl alcohol, flux).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot malfunctioning specialized equipment using test equipment and diagnostic software to pinpoint root causes.
• Perform precise mechanical and electrical repairs and calibrations, including micro-soldering and component replacements.
• Disassemble devices, clean components, reapply thermal paste, and reassemble to factory standards.
• Run post-repair benchmarks and stress tests to ensure hardware stability and full functionality.
• Parts management: maintain inventory and document parts used in the ticketing system.
• Adhere to ESD safety protocols and handling of hazardous materials like damaged lithium batteries.
