Job summary

Gladiatoremergence in Fort Meade, MD seeks a hardware engineering professional to analyze complex hardware systems, design architectures, and support sensitive hardware projects on-site. You will procure equipment, perform acceptance testing, and maintain hardware across CONUS and OCONUS deployments.

You will prepare hardware specifications, engineering plans, and site design packages, organize installations, configure devices, and develop detailed site reports.

Responsibilities

• Provides hardware engineering expertise to analyze complex hardware systems, hardware design, architecture, network design, and other technical hardware issues
• Procures and performs acceptance testing on equipment
• Provides hardware maintenance support, both preventative and remedial; deploys, installs, and implements hardware in the CONUS and OCONUS
• Prepares specifications for hardware by analyzing documented and derived system requirements
• Prepares engineering plans and site Technical Design Packages
• Organizes and directs hardware installations; configures computers, networking devices, and peripheral equipment
• Prepares site installations and test reports
• Ensures problems are properly identified and solutions satisfy the user's requirements
• Prepares reports and recommendations concerning existing and emerging hardware technologies
• Provides input to hardware components of system design including end-user devices, servers, networking devices, data storage devices, and specialized processors
