EMI Services, a subsidiary of TechFlow, is hiring an HVAC Chiller Technician II to support mission-critical infrastructure at Camp Lejeune. The role focuses on installation, repair and calibration of large-scale cooling systems and related control networks in a secure military environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of advanced HVAC experience with chillers, VRF, and DOAS/MAU systems, plus EPA Universal Refrigeration license and a valid REAL ID driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent with technical HVAC training/experience.
• 4+ years of advanced experience in maintenance, repair, installation and operation of COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL HVAC systems.
• Experience with compressors, motors, burners, pumps, ducts, refrigerants and related systems.
• Experience installing, calibrating and troubleshooting control systems.
• EPA Universal Refrigeration License
• Valid driver's license compliant with REAL ID Act

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair refrigerant systems including VRF, chillers and CRAC units.
• Fabricate and assemble refrigerant piping; install valves and joints.
• Test and verify operation of motors, controls and ventilation equipment.
• Replace defective electrical components and wiring as needed.
• Add refrigerant and manage subcooling and superheat.
• Observe gauges and adjust system controls for proper operation.
• Install and service air conditioners up to 500 tons.
• Prepare work orders and cost materials estimates.
• Assist in training lower-level workers.
