Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Scheduler for Fort Hood, TX. The role provides construction scheduling support on federal projects, developing and maintaining CPM schedules using Primavera P6 or government-approved tools.

You will review baselines, TIAs, and recovery schedules, and coordinate with project teams to align cost, schedule, and field progress. Candidates should have a strong background in CPM scheduling, US federal project experience, and the ability to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
5–10 years of CPM scheduling experience on construction projects.
Experience with Primavera P6 or government-approved scheduling tools.
US Army Corps of Engineers or federal project experience preferred.
CCM or PSP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, analyze, and maintain detailed CPM schedules using Primavera P6 or other Government-approved scheduling software.
Ensure schedules reflect all phases of construction activities, contract milestones, logic ties, constraints, sequencing, and float values.
Review baseline schedules, monthly updates, TIAs, and recovery schedules for technical adequacy and compliance.
Verify compliance with Division 01 scheduling requirements, including schedule formats, update frequencies, narratives, milestones, and phasing requirements.
Identify schedule variances, analyze impacts to project milestones, and provide recommendations to mitigate delays and recover lost time.
Prepare written reports and present schedule findings during meetings with Government personnel and project stakeholders.
Coordinate with cost estimators, project engineers, and construction representatives to align project cost, schedule, and field progress.
Provide monthly schedule performance reports including Gantt charts, narrative analyses, trend evaluations, and completion forecasts.
Assist with change order preparation and evaluate schedule impacts associated with contract modifications.
Monitor Government-furnished services, long-lead items, and contractor submittals that may impact the critical path.
Review A-E estimated construction schedules to validate project periods of performance.
Develop initial construction schedules for in-house design projects to establish accurate contract durations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
