Job summary

SwiftMove Logistics seeks a Formwork Specialist for our Atlanta site. You will study plans, cut and assemble formworks, and install them on concrete pours, ensuring alignment and safety on site.

The role requires physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Accommodation is provided if needed, and we welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Formworker or similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Physically fit for extended manual labor.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of formwork systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches and construction plans to determine type and dimensions of formworks needed.
• Cut, shape and assemble wood, metal or other materials to create formworks according to specifications.
• Install formworks on site using hand and power tools.
• Pour concrete into formworks, ensuring proper alignment and leveling.
• Remove formworks after concrete has set, ensuring minimal damage to the structure.
• Inspect formworks for defects or issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Adhere to all safety regulations on site at all times.
