Louisiana Bridge Builders in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Carpenter (Formbuilding/Formsetting) II to support bridge and concrete construction. You will assemble forms, read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and ensure formwork is level, plumb, and square for safe pours.

5+ years of form carpentry experience is required, with proficiency in hand and power tools and good communication skills. Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant form carpentry experience.
• Ability to read construction plans and interpret blueprints.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used in formwork.

Responsibilities

• Assemble forms for bridges, foundations, beams, etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine form requirements.
• Measure and cut materials to specifications using hand/power tools.
• Ensure formwork is level, plumb, and square with levels/lasers.
• Install anchor bolts and fixtures in formwork and remove forms after cure.
• Inspect formwork and assist with concrete pour when needed.
