Louisiana Bridge Builders in Lake Charles, LA, seeks a Carpenter (Formbuilding/Formsetting) II to construct, set, and remove concrete formwork for foundations, walls, and columns. The role requires interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and ensuring formwork is level and safe.

You will also install anchors, assist with concrete pours, and maintain formwork in good condition, while following safety practices and collaborating with the team on projects for LADOTD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of form carpentry experience.
• Knowledge of formwork tools and techniques.
• Ability to read construction blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, set up, and remove concrete formwork for bridges and foundations.
• Read blueprints to determine form requirements.
• Measure and cut materials with hand and power tools.
• Ensure formwork is level, plumb, and square.
• Install anchor bolts and fixtures in formwork.
• Remove formwork after concrete cures.
• Inspect formwork for safety and condition.
• Assist with the concrete pour process.
• Perform duties safely and efficiently.
