Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Examine blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions of structure.
• Measure boards and timbers to mark cutting lines.
• Saw boards and plywood to required sizes.
• Use carpentry hand tools such as hammers, levels, and wrenches.
• Nail cleats across boards to construct concrete forms.
• Brace forms in place for concrete piers, footings, and walls.
• Erect scaffolding and install ladders, handrails, and platforms.
• Fit and nail outer wall sheathing and door/window bucks.
