Job Description
This position is responsible for manually and mechanically cleaning equipment in the Formulation area while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Spanish)
- Raspar, cincelar y cepillar todas las superficies de contacto de los equipos de Formulación para eliminar material.
- Barrer, aspirar y retirar todo el material en polvo de los equipos, pisos, tuberías, etc.
- Mantener un conocimiento sólido del funcionamiento mecánico de la Línea Suave.
- Capacidad para recibir capacitación en la operación de equipos dentro del área de Formulación de la Línea Suave (Operador de Formulación).
- Capacidad para operar equipos de Formulación.
- Realizar Bloqueo y Etiquetado (Lockout Tagout).
- Manejar productos químicos.
- Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y ordenada.
- Desempeñar las tareas de manera segura, según se describe en los Procedimientos Operativos Estándar (SOP) de Servicios Públicos.
- Usar un respirador durante toda la duración del turno.
- Realizar tareas adicionales asignadas por la gerencia.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (English)
- Scrape, chisel and brush all contact surfaces on Formulation equipment to remove material.
- Sweep, vacuum and remove all powder material from equipment, floors, pipes, etc.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the mechanical operation of the Soft Line.
- Ability to be trained on equipment operation within the Formulation area of the Soft Line (Formulation Operator).
- Ability to operate Formulation equipment.
- Perform Lockout Tagout.
- Handle chemicals.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Utility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Wear a respirator full duration of shift.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation.
- Ability to become certified in Lockout Tagout.
- Ability to become certified in Chemical Handling.
- Basic computer skills.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Experience: N/A.
- Systems: Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements
- Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings.
- Lift up to 60 lbs. (27 kg).
- Push/pull 100 lbs. (45 kg).
- Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria.
- Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises.
- Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions.
- Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift.
- Bend over multiple times throughout shift.
PPE Requirements (Task Based)
- Steel‑toed boots.
- Hearing protection.
- Cut‑resistant gloves.
- Safety glasses.
- High visibility vest.
- Hard hat.
- Respirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean‑shaven face where the respirator seals to the skin).
Compensation
Starting hourly range: $17.15 - $22.66. Eligible for a 15% shift differential for designated overnight shift periods.
