Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Formulation Technician in Woburn, MA to perform cGMP formulation operations and execute batch records on real process equipment. You will run tests, document results, and ensure compliance in a regulated biotech manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a regulated environment (chemical, biotech, medical device, or biopharmaceutical)
• High school diploma required; associates degree or trade certification preferred
• Strong lab technique including pipetting, weighing, mixing solutions, aliquoting, and documentation

Job Summary

This is a direct, hands‑on seat in cGMP manufacturing youll be the one operating the equipment and executing the batch records that turn our platform into product. Youll work with real formulation equipment (fluid dispensers, mixers, pumps, filtration systems), run the in-process testing that keeps production on spec, and see your work move straight into the pipeline. Its a strong entry point into regulated biotech manufacturing, with room to grow as the operation scales.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a regulated environment (chemical, biotech, medical device, or biopharmaceutical); clean room experience preferred
• High school diploma required; associates degree or trade certification preferred
• Strong lab technique pipetting, weighing, mixing solutions, aliquoting, documentation
• Comfortable working in both laboratory and clean room environments
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and on a team

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Woburn, MA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
