Formulation Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Formulation Technician to support production operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This role is responsible for preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring production processes run efficiently while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the production area in a clean, organized, and compliant manner in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Safely handle biological and hazardous materials
• Perform tank cleanouts, sterilization procedures, and routine equipment maintenance
• Prepare glassware, filtration systems, and other materials required for production runs
• Follow and execute production schedules accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to and support quality procedures and documentation requirements
• Operate laboratory and production equipment, including:
  • Centrifuges
  • Filtration systems
  • pH meters
  • Balances
  • Mixers

Qualifications

• Experience working in a GMP or regulated production environment preferred
• Familiarity with handling biological and/or hazardous materials
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and production schedules
• Understanding of quality systems and procedures
• SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) system experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
