Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions seeks a manufacturing technician responsible for producing solutions and media per SOPs, training manufacturing operations staff, and supporting production runs. You will work in a cGMP environment, handle unit operations, and drive improvements in daily practice while maintaining quality records.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 2+ years in manufacturing, and solid knowledge of buffer prep, basic chemistry, and Excel/Word/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing setting.
• Technical knowledge of how to calculate and prepare basic buffer solutions.
• Some knowledge of biologics manufacturing unit operations.
• General chemistry background (e.g. Henderson-Hasselbalch, conductivity, osmolality).
• Knowledge of maintenance and calibration of pressure-rated tanks, large scales, heat exchangers, and water systems.
• Experience in cGMP compliance related to manufacture of solutions and media.
• Experience with electronic systems for recording data, including formulation records and logbooks.

The technician will be responsible for completing manufacture of various solutions and media per written formulation instructions, adhering to facility SOPs and complying with regulatory standards. In addition, the technician will complete the training for the manufacturing operations group and fill in as needed during production runs.

• Minimum 2+ years in a manufacturing setting. This can be in a chemical plant, biologics pilot plant, clinical manufacturing plant, or any combination thereof.
• Technical knowledge of how to calculate and prepare basic buffer solutions.
• Some knowledge of biologics manufacturing unit operations.
• General chemistry background (e.g. understanding of Henderson-Hasselbalch equations, conductivity, and osmolality).
• Knowledge of maintenance and calibration of pressure-rated tanks, large scales, heat exchangers, and water systems.
• Experience in cGMP compliance as related to manufacture of solutions and media.
• Experience in electronic systems for recording data, including formulation records and logbooks.
• Ability to think critically and demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong workload planning skills, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software programs, or equivalent.
