Job summary

Qualifications

• Familiarity with GMP, QSRs, ISO and IVD regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read SOPs and follow verbal instructions.
• Experience with chromatography equipment and software.
• Basic weighing of multiple components for formulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and qualification of resin products on specialized instruments.
• Record and report test results with proper documentation.
• Prepare buffers, media, and solutions as required.
• Utilize HPLC, chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques.
• Complete complex production work orders per procedures.
• Analyze data, derive conclusions, and prepare reports.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 and corporate quality policies.
• Follow EH&S safety requirements and participate in safety initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Shift: M-F from 6:00AM-2:30PM or 2pm – 10.30pm

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $28.00/hr W2

Position Summary:

• Work in a team-based environment within a manufacturing lab responsible for packing and testing ion exchange media used in chromatography consumables.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing and qualification of resin products on specialized instruments to meet customer demand.
• Record and report test results accurately and maintain proper documentation.
• Experience in buffer, media, solution preparation.
• HPLC, Chromatography, and Mass Spectrometry
• Complete complex production work orders according to established procedures.
• Analyze data, derive conclusions, and prepare reports based on findings.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 guidelines and corporate quality policy to ensure high-quality standards.
• Follow EH&S safety requirements and actively participate in safety improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practices and standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Ability to read and understand written procedures (SOPs) and follow verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools regularly used (wrenches, torque drivers, tweezer, etc.)
• Willingness to learn and apply Lean manufacturing and PPI Continuous Improvement tools.
• Hands-on experience in a Chemistry laboratory is preferred.
• Knowledge of Chromatography software and chemistry experience a plus.
• Basic experience in weighting multiple components required.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• A bachelor’s in chemistry or biotechnology is preferred.
