Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions in San Diego, CA is seeking an Associate Scientist, Product Development to support formulation and analytical development for preclinical and clinical drug products. Under supervision you will perform tasks, maintain records, and ensure SOP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a physical, chemical, biological, or pharmaceutical science required.
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, lift up to 40 pounds; vision and sensory requirements as described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formulation development and characterization activities under supervision.
• Prepare reports, summaries, protocols, batch records, and quantitative analyses.
• Maintain lab notebooks and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Assist with client interaction under supervisor guidance.
• Develop problem-solving skills for experimental outcomes.
• Stay current with scientific literature.
