Alexion is seeking an Associate Scientist II for the Injectable Drug Product Development team in Cambridge, MA. You will perform experimental work on formulation and process development for clinical biologics, supporting manufacturing through characterization and analytical testing.

This role requires independent execution with strong teamwork, meticulous record keeping, and preparation of development reports.

Formación

• BS or MS in Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Solid knowledge of protein/peptide biochemistry, formulation, and stability.
• Experience with analytical techniques (iCE/Maurice, HPLC/UPLC, DLS, CD, DSC, AUC, NanoTemper).
• Ability to design and perform experiments with minimal supervision in a collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute formulation and process development studies for clinical biologic candidates.
• Perform physico-chemical characterization and stability studies for clinical and commercial products.
• Characterize conformational and colloidal stability using standard methodologies (e.g., CD, SEC-MALS, etc.).
• Maintain organized records and prepare internal technical reports.
• Participate in cross-functional development teams.
