Job summary

The Formulation Process Development Engineer at Corteva Agriscience in Indianapolis, IN works with a team of formulation chemists, analysts and operations personnel to develop scalable formulation processes for crop protection products.

You will design and conduct research using DoE to understand key variables affecting product performance, quality and manufacturability, and transfer successful processes to manufacturing for scale-up and deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience in formulation or chemical process scale-up and/or development.
• Ability to set up pilot scale laboratory equipment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing and conducting research to enable successful launch of crop protection formulated products.
• Using DoE to design and conduct experiments to understand key process variables.
• Coordinating cross-functional samples for reactive chemistry, packaging compatibility and application studies.
• Documenting key process parameters in technical reports.
• Providing manufacturing plant support and transferring learnings from DOE and plant trials.
