Job summary

Cambium is seeking a Scientist II to join our polymer/composite materials team in the United States. You will design, formulate, and manufacture advanced material products spanning coatings to composites, with a focus on high-temperature thermosets, moving products from benchtop to commercialization.

This hands-on role requires spending substantial time in the laboratory, collaborating with scientists and engineers, performing DoEs, analyzing data, and contributing to process optimization. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS or MS with years in Chemistry/Polymer/Materials Science or related field.
• Industrial experience in advanced materials and polymers for high-performance applications.
• Hands-on lab experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, formulate, and manufacture advanced material products (coatings, composites, films).
• Perform DoEs and plan experiments with chemists and engineers.
• Analyze data, document conclusions, and present results to leadership.
