Job summary

Pace is seeking an Associate Scientist – Animal Health R&D to support formulation development for sterile injectable and freeze-dried products. The role involves coordinating early developability studies, stability testing, and data analysis under supervision, with opportunities to contribute to cross-functional projects.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science and 0–2 years of lab experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant laboratory experience, internships or research preferred.
• Hands-on experience with standard laboratory equipment.
• Ability to design, execute, and document experiments with clear objectives and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, monitor, and document early developability and pre-formulation assessments.
• Organize and execute stability studies per regulatory guidelines.
• Characterize drug candidates using analytical tools (DSC, DLS, Zetasizer, viscometry, particle analysis).
• Support formulation and process development for sterile injectable and lyophilized products.
• Document data in electronic notebooks and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
