Job summary

Pharmacy Careers is seeking a Formulary Management Pharmacist to influence therapy access at scale. You will evaluate new drug products for formulary inclusion, analyze economic data, and support P&T committee decisions in a hybrid/remote-friendly environment.

The role offers intellectual challenge and growth, with collaboration across managed care, PBM, and health-plan teams. You will update formulary lists and provide clinical support for utilization management and prior-authorization criteria.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree required.
• Experience in managed care, PBM, or health-plan ideal.
• Interest in formulary and policy work.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review new drug products for formulary inclusion or exclusion.
• Analyze clinical trial data, cost-effectiveness, and therapeutic outcomes to support recommendations.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committees on formulary decisions.
• Maintain and update formulary lists in compliance with health-plan, PBM, and regulatory standards.
• Provide clinical support for utilization management, prior-authorization criteria, and step-therapy guidelines.
