Job summary

Pharmacy Careers is seeking a Formulary Management Pharmacist to influence therapy access at scale. This hybrid/remote friendly role evaluates new drugs, analyzes clinical/economic data, and supports P&T decisions.

You will maintain formulary lists and provide clinical guidance for utilization management and prior-authorization criteria. The ideal candidate has PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy with experience in managed care or health plans and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy required.
• Experience in managed care, PBM, or health-plan preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret clinical research.
• Excellent written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review new drug products for formulary inclusion or exclusion.
• Analyze clinical trial data, cost-effectiveness, and therapeutic outcomes to support recommendations.
• Collaborate with P&T Committees on formulary decisions.
• Maintain and update formulary lists in compliance with health-plan, PBM, and regulatory standards.
• Provide clinical support for utilization management, prior-authorization criteria, and step-therapy guidance.
