Job summary

Pharmacy Careers is recruiting a Formulary Management Pharmacist to influence coverage decisions by evaluating new drugs and supporting P&T committees across the US. The role offers hybrid or remote flexibility and a strong emphasis on data-driven policy work.

The position requires a PharmD (or Bachelor of Pharmacy) with experience in managed care, PBM, or health-plan settings, plus analytical and communication strengths to shape formulary decisions and achieve optimal patient access.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy as minimum education.
• Experience in managed care, PBM, health-plan is ideal.
• Strong analytical ability and interpretation of clinical research.
• Excellent written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review new drug products for formulary inclusion or exclusion.
• Analyze clinical trial data, cost-effectiveness, and therapeutic outcomes to support recommendations.
• Collaborate with P&T Committees on formulary decisions.
• Maintain and update formulary lists in compliance with standards.
• Provide clinical support for utilization management and prior-authorization criteria.
