Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an entry-level Forming Operator to work under direct supervision, performing forming tasks with basic templates, jigs, and fixtures to meet customer specifications. The role requires basic tool usage and reading technical documents, with attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of shop math.
• Ability to use basic computer functions.
• Ability to read and understand English to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to produce to rate and meet quality standards.
• Set up and operate forming, deburring, manual heading, and automated heading machines.
• Monitor operations and adjust as needed; stop machines if issues occur.
• Perform lubrication, bluecoat, gritblast, sleeve washing, and packaging as required.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
