Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a Forming Operator Journeyman Card. Expect a rotating schedule with weekend/holiday coverage and a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements.
• Commitment to meeting quality standards and SOPs.
• Willingness to learn SPC (statistical process control).

Responsibilities

• Operate bottle forming machine, tools and equipment.
• Perform defect analysis (gauging and visual) and adjust machine, feeder, stacker as needed.
• Assist with breakdown repairs and job changes.
• Gauge weight and dimensions on sample sets and record via computer terminal.
• Re-qualify all cavities after major downtime.
