A leading glass packaging manufacturer located in Erie, PA, is seeking an IS Operator Journeyman. The role involves operating and managing the IS machine to produce high-quality glass containers. Candidates must have a high school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a production manufacturing environment. Preferred qualifications include a technical school degree or Journeyman Card. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $41.18 and a 12-hour rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate the IS machine and related forming equipment.
• Assist with job and mold changes on machines.
• Observe and make adjustments to forming hot end equipment.
• Weigh, measure, and visually check hot end coating application for defects.
