Job summary

North Freeze Dry is seeking a Forming & Freezing Utility Operator to support and back up operators in the forming and freezing process. Responsibilities include rotating tasks across forming equipment, maintaining records, and ensuring inventory control with the ERP system.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to obtain forklift certification. Work involves a team environment with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Ability to follow food safety, quality and safety procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift certification preferred, or willing to obtain.
• Team player with good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce required quantity of batched recipes within specifications and production plan.
• Inspect materials and in-process items for quality and recipe adherence.
• Maintain logs and records of production and rejects.
• Perform pre-operational checks and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support quality and sanitation programs and report issues.
• Interface with ERP to manage inventory and traceability.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist other lines as needed.
