Job summary

Crowder Construction Co is seeking an experienced Form Carpenter to build and install concrete forms for heavy civil projects in the Southeast. You will interpret blueprints, select materials, and assemble form panels with safety and precision at the forefront.

The role requires a minimum of three years in heavy construction, familiarity with Symons and gang form systems, and the ability to work from elevated platforms while adhering to all Crowder safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of heavy construction experience.
• Knowledge of Symons and gang form systems.
• Must own basic carpenter tools.
• Work to precise standards and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Select lumber and materials for forms.
• Prepare layout with tape measure and framing square.
• Mark cutting lines on materials.
• Shape materials to prescribed measurements.
• Assemble form panels and fasten with nails or bolts.
• Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for elevated work.
• Saw and nail lumber to form panels.
• Anchor forms to fixed objects; ensure stability.
• Rigging and flagging cranes as required.
• Follow safety policies and complete duties as directed.
