Job summary

Crowder is seeking a Form Carpenter to build and install concrete forms for heavy civil projects in the Southeast. You will read blueprints, select materials, and layout and assemble formwork with accuracy and safety in mind.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in heavy construction, familiarity with Symons and gang form systems, and possession of basic carpenter tools. We offer a drug-free workplace and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum 3 years experience in heavy construction with knowledge of Symons and gang form systems.
• Work within precise standards of accuracy.
• Must have basic carpenter tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and set forms to pour concrete.
• Select lumber or other materials as specified.
• Prepare layout with measuring tools and framing square.
• Mark cutting lines and assemble forms.
• Shape materials to prescribed measurements and fasten with nails or screws.
• Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete and erect scaffolding as needed.
• Rig and operate basic crane signals and maintain safety compliance.
