Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a Form Builders Structures (Mesquite, TX) to join our team. The role involves building and setting forms for concrete structures and working on various heavy highway and transportation projects.

Responsibilities include constructing forms, setting lines, using power tools safely, and finishing concrete per project specs. Expect day-to-day variations, potential night/weekend shifts, and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in construction
• Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. Austin Bridge & Road is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position

Responsibilities

• Build forms and plan specifications
• Set forms on line and grade
• Understand proper safe use of power tools
• Know and understand finishing tools such as bull float, straight edge, screed, and hand floats
• Concrete placement and able to finish within the plan specifications
• Able to follow instructions
• Assist with concrete placement
• Assist with concrete finishing
• Traffic control
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures
• Other duties as assigned
