Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road in Farmers Branch, TX is seeking skilled Form Builders/Structures to join our heavy highway and transportation team. Responsibilities include building and setting forms, following safety policies, and coordinating with crews to meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in construction.
• Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety.
• Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. Austin Bridge & Road is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position

Responsibilities

• Build forms and plan specifications
• Set forms on line and grade
• Understand proper safe use of power tools
• Know and understand finishing tools such as bull float (mop), straight edge, screed, and hand floats
• Concrete placement and able to finish within the plan specifications
• Able to follow instructions
• Assist with concrete placement
• Assist with concrete finishing
• Traffic control
• Install erosion control devices
• General site clean up
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures
• Other duties as assigned
