Job summary

UFP Industries in Livermore Falls, Maine, seeks an experienced Warehouse/Inventory Supervisor who understands material handling, inventory control, and reporting. You will supervise direct reports and work with your supervisor and upper management to maintain professional standards.

Duties include directing staff, acting as floor manager when needed, ensuring correct product location, coordinating shipments, and performing cycle counts.

• Ability to follow direction and have basic math skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Print reading ability
• Must be able to problem solve
• Ability to clearly identify product with or without labeling
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality

Responsibilities

• Ability to provide direction to others and represent themselves as a leader
• Operate as Manager when Manager is off floor or not in building
• Expert understanding of machinery stock needs for continued production.
• Active communication with employees and upper management
• Capable of accurately locating product.
• Must be able to organize, plan, provide tools and information to prepare shipments for unloading or transit
• Inspect inbound or outbound goods and confirm that paperwork matches actual and identify any discrepancies or damage with the inventory manager.
• Be able to work independently while managing multiple priorities at the same time
• Complete cycle counts upon request and provide results back to inventory manager.
• Must be responsible for specific tasks or roles as assigned.
• Operate all lift equipment safely and efficiently.
