Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC in Wisconsin is hiring a facilities support worker to transport and dispose of plant waste, operate forklifts, and maintain clean, safe work areas. You will follow SOPs, document activities, and assist with confined-space cleaning to ensure smooth plant operations.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, strict adherence to OSHA rules, and accurate recordkeeping in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and maintaining safe work practices.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and OSHA rules.
• Comfort with manual lifting up to 50 lbs and basic recordkeeping.

Responsabilités

• Operate forklifts and sweepers to move plant garbage to hog room and dumpsters.
• Empty waste receptacles manually into dumpsters as needed.
• Clean confined spaces to keep dust collection equipment running.
• Record information into a computer or on paper accurately.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety rules.
• Lift objects up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.

Description du poste

· Operate forklifts and sweepers according to standard operating procedures to transport plant garbage from appropriate production areas to hog room and waste dumpsters.

· Empty waste receptacles by hand into dumpsters as necessary

· Clean and work in confined space areas to ensure cleaning and proper operation of dust collection

· Follow all OSHA and company established safety rules

· Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs

· Accurately record necessary information into a computer or by hand.
