Job summary

Material Handling & Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team in Milwaukee. The role involves loading/unloading freight, operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and using a WMS to track inventory.

You will support two facilities (Holton Street and Richards Street) to keep operations running smoothly, with a structured 8:00am–4:30pm schedule. This contract-to-hire position offers a full-time path with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating large sit-down forklifts.
• Strong stand-up forklift proficiency (essential for supporting the Richards facility).
• Hands-on experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills (email and phone).
• Demonstrated reliability with a solid employment history showing longevity and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight efficiently across multiple zones and docks within the main Holton Street facility.
• When tasks are completed at the primary site, transition to support the Richards Street facility to keep operations running.
• Use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track, log, and manage inventory accurately.
• Coordinate with team members and logistics partners by phone and email to keep material flow on schedule.
• Maintain consistent performance in a fully secure facility with 24/7 camera monitoring.
