DelGrosso Foods, Inc. is seeking a forklift operator for the shipping/receiving area. The position requires 2–5 years of forklift experience and fork truck certification (preferred; must obtain/maintain).
You will operate the forklift and palletizer, load and unload trucks, maintain inventory, and keep a clean, safe work area in a non‑air conditioned facility. Shifts are long (10+ hours), Monday–Friday with 5 or 6 am starts and Saturdays required.
Educations & Qualifications: Position requires a minimum of 2-5 years of experience operating a forklift. Fork truck certification preferred; must obtain/maintain fork truck certification. Must have the ability to effectively communicate and work as a team with employees, supervisors, and incoming/outgoing drivers. Must be able to operate a computer and pay attention to details. Shifts are typically 10+ hours, Monday-Friday 5 or 6 am- approximately 4pm (or until production ends); Saturdays are required. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a non-air conditioned facility.
Summary: Operate fork truck and machinery (palletizer) in the shipping/receiving section of the warehouse. Maintain proper stock and inventory levels. Load and unload trucks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
