Job summary

The Suddath Companies is seeking a forklift Operator to safely and efficiently move, stack, and pick merchandise within a warehouse environment. This role covers shipping, receiving, inventorying, repackaging, palletizing, and forklift operation as needed.

Responsibilities include operating MHE safely per OSHA standards, loading/unloading, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting packing and staging tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months verifiable work experience operating material handling equipment in the past 36 months.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other MHE safely following OSHA standards.
• Unload, load, move, stack and stage product and materials.
• Move product from staging/storage into trailers or containers.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Perform pick/pack, labeling, and repacking as needed.
• Keep records and reports to support inventory control.
