Job summary

Ditsch USA in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a Forklift Warehouse Operator for the 3rd shift. You will keep materials moving safely and accurately in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, loading/unloading, and operating forklifts and related equipment.

You will use RF scanners, perform cycle counts, monitor inventory accuracy, and follow GMP and PPE guidelines to ensure safe, efficient operations. This role requires attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset.

Qualifications

• Forklift warehouse experience required.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks with materials or finished goods.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and ride-on equipment in warehouses, freezer, dock, and production areas.
• Move materials to production workstations, storage areas, and shipping/receiving locations.
• Use handheld RF scanners, complete inventory cycle counts, and help resolve discrepancies.
• Inspect equipment, complete daily pre-start checks, and report damages, shortages, or quality concerns.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe while following PPE, GMP, and company safety requirements.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50/hour

Schedule: 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

We are looking for dependable, safety-minded team players who are comfortable working around active production equipment and varying temperatures.

• Previous forklift warehouse experience required; food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with forklifts, reach trucks, ride-on equipment, or similar material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to safety.
• Comfort using RF scanners and maintaining accurate inventory information.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, including above shoulder height.
• Ability to work in cold/freezer areas, warm production spaces, and around powered moving equipment.
