Job summary

Roskam Foods, headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handler to support daily production by moving materials with forklifts and other lifting devices, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery.

You will stage materials for the line, maintain FIFO, inspect loads and equipment, and collaborate with teams to keep production running smoothly. Prior experience in warehousing is preferred; training provided on site.

Qualifications

• Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices such as forklifts, hoists, or other platforms.
• Inspect product loads for accuracy and ensure safe handling and placement.
• Record weights or production data on tags/labels for traceability.
• Follow FIFO and material flow to support on-time production.

Responsibilities

• Move materials using forklifts or lifting devices to load/unload, transport, or store.
• Stage line materials and ensure availability for continuous production.
• Weigh materials and record data; monitor and report discrepancies.
• Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify issues and escalate as needed.
