Job summary

Crecera Brands leads the Sportsman’s Guide, TGW, and Baseball Savings as a major outdoor gear retailer. The Equipment Operator will move goods using forklifts and other equipment, loading/unloading, and assisting with inventory control in a fast-paced warehouse.

The role requires certification or willingness to obtain certification, strong attention to safety, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Excellent teamwork and communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers required.
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and equipment safety.
• Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers and other equipment to move products in the warehouse.
• Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring proper placement and safe handling of materials.
• Assist with inventory control by scanning, counting, and tracking items using handheld devices or WMS.
• Follow safety guidelines and conduct regular equipment inspections; report hazards.
• Transport materials to designated storage areas for organized retrieval.
• Communicate with management to resolve issues like damage or shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
