Job summary

Crecera Brands is seeking an Equipment Operator to support warehouse operations at our Indiana facility. The role involves operating forklifts and other equipment to move goods, load/unload trucks, and assist with inventory control using WMS tools.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience, and a valid certification or willingness to obtain one through company training. A strong attention to safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers is required.
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification through company training is expected.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and other material handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse.
• Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring proper placement of goods and safe handling of materials.
• Assist with inventory control by scanning, counting, and tracking items using handheld devices or warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and coworkers.
• Transport materials to designated storage areas, ensuring optimal organization of goods for easy retrieval.
• Confer and correspond with management to rectify problems, such as damage, shortages, and nonconformance to storage specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the equipment and work areas, removing debris and hazardous materials as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned.

About The Position

The Equipment Operator plays a critical role in the efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse by operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the equipment and work areas, removing debris and hazardous materials as needed.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers is required.
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification through company training.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and equipment safety.
• Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory tracking software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
