Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA is seeking a warehouse associate to move materials from receiving to storage, pick customer orders, and prepare shipments. You will operate a sit-down/stand-up forklift and reach truck, place items on racks, and record quantities.

Qualifications

• Six to twelve months of related experience required.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts and reach trucks.
• Knowledge of order picking, receiving products, and outbound loading/unloading.
• Familiarity with rack storage, cycle counting, and safety practices.
• Ability to use common hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or designated areas.
• Sort and place items on racks or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions or work orders for materials or stock items.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare for packing or shipping.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Record quantities received or distributed.
• Operate forklift to transport items to packaging area for shipment.
• Frequently lift or carry up to 50 lbs and push up to 25 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.
