Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking Forklift/ Reach Truck Operators and Warehouse Associates for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities in the Port Wentworth and Rincon area. Starting pay is $19.16 -21.64/hr with progression to $22.53/hr at 6 months and $24.07/hr at 1 year.

Positions include 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 11pm-7am). Responsibilities include material handling, loading, shipping support, safety, and documentation. Training on 1st shift is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 51lbs repetitively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive a pull task and retrieve the correct material with a lift truck.
• Transport pallets by forklift to and from locations.
• Move flooring material from trailers to storage and to Shaw trucks for shipping.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Report unsafe storage areas and conditions to Supervisors.
• Read, write and comprehend shipping documents and store orders.
• Tape and repair damaged packaging and keep spaces tidy.
