Staffmark Group in Poway, CA is seeking a Forklift Warehouse Associate to support a fast-paced distribution center with accurate picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.

The role requires 1 year of forklift experience and a High School diploma or GED. You will operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, perform inventory tasks, and uphold strict safety standards.

Location: Poway, CA

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Schedule: 4am to 1230pm & 9am to 530pm

Job Duties

• Responsible for executing daily order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, material handling, and inventory stocking within a fast-paced distribution center environment.
• This role operates material handling equipment (such as sit-down and stand-up forklifts) to safely unload, move, stack, and pick products while maintaining exact order accuracy and strict warehouse safety standards.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• 1 year experience with Forklift sit-down/Stand up
• Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.
• Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.
• Experience with Picking and Packing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Forklift Warehouse Associate.
• Inventory and cycle count experience

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
