Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty material handling equipment across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. This is a field-based role with a take-home service truck and a first-shift, no-weekends schedule.

Earn $21–$38 per hour depending on experience, with full benefits including PTO, medical, dental, vision, and retirement. Travel to customer sites daily and log repairs accurately for the dispatch team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, diesel).
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Hit the road to various customer sites; every day brings a different machine and a new challenge.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to standard.
• Log service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team.

This is a fast-paced, field-based position where you'll use your diagnostic expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep our customers' operations moving.

What You’ll Need

• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the company truck
