Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty material handling equipment in the field across Michigan. You will use diagnostic expertise for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on customer sites.

This role offers a sign-on bonus, hourly pay based on experience, a company vehicle for take-home service, and a comprehensive benefits package. No weekends and a first-shift schedule with opportunities to upsell parts and service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel).
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.
• Valid driver''s license and a clean driving record for the company truck.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Hit the road to various customer sites - every day brings a different machine and a new challenge.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards.
• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team.
