Job summary

HDT in Spokane, WA, is seeking a forklift operator to load and unload shipments and support assembly with safe and efficient material handling. You will follow safety practices and work under a supervisor or lead to complete tasks in a timely manner.

You will perform daily forklift inspections, verify documentation, and help maintain dock cleanliness and inventory accuracy. Weekend overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years forklift experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution setting.
• OSHA-certified forklift operator preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory control and shipping/receiving paperwork.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials and products.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report malfunctions.
• Load inbound and outbound shipments and verify shipping documents.
• Deliver materials to production lines and stage finished goods.
• Maintain dock and inventory area housekeeping.
• Assist with cycle counting and material data transactions.
