Job summary

HODGE is seeking a Forklift Operator to help unload, load, and move materials safely within the warehouse. You will operate forklifts and related equipment, support inventory accuracy, and contribute to a team that values family-like collaboration and safety-focused processes.

You will follow safety protocols, communicate effectively with peers and leadership, and participate in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse while supporting continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities are required.
• Commitment to promoting a positive workplace and safety-first culture is essential.
• Basic proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Tools is expected.
• Experience with or willingness to learn the use of material handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, overhead cranes, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials, ensure proper stacking and securing of products.
• Transport materials to storage areas or production lines and verify shipment accuracy.
• Maintain inventory records by documenting movements and updating the system.
• Promote safety and uphold PPE and hazard-prevention policies.
